Another birthday has past 

and what a wonderful day it was! 

To start this new year for me, I thought I would start this blog. Thanks to my neighbor Jenn, who has inspired me to start blogging, I chose today to start. The only problem I have is that I am not much of a writer. What do I have to talk about, let alone write about. Well, I guess I will find out! 

What blogging means to me... well, to be honest, I think of it as a public journal. In a way, I hope there are not too many people wanting to review my mindless thoughts. But over time, I think it will be good for me in several ways. 

May be this journal will help me to become a better writer? And if it doesn't, that's ok. I think the practice will be good. 


May be this journal doesn't have to be all about words. I absolutely love the website Pinterest. In fact, I have been using my evernote as my own personal Pinterest and I can see myself blogging about things that I find out there in the world wide web. "Pictures can say thousand words."

May be this journal will help me convey my thoughts and feelings more precisely. Sometimes I feel like I can't get out exactly what I want to say the way I want to say it. With practice, I may become better. There are so many people with so many opinions. I would love to be able share my opinions more precisely. 

May be this journal will help me dedicate some personal time to personal issues. And may be these personal issues will be something of importance for someone else to read. My hopes is that DH will help as well. I love the way he thinks and writes.

May be this journal will help me learn more about blogging and the internet. Life is a learning experience and this is one more chapter for me to learn.

Well, there it is. My very first post... much about nothing. But that's ok. It's mine!
